it sounds like something on your server end. there is no difference on the archive.org upload side. both are .flac files, and it won't make the FTP program react differently regardless if they are 16 bit flac vs 24 bit flac. both would be seen to the system as just .flac files. Also, not sure why your ISP would restrict you just because of a slightly larger file size. Are you sure you are doing nothing differently?

also, when you import the show, make sure to pick '24-bit flac' from the filetype dropdown menu, not 'FLAC'. the normal 'flac' describer is for 16 bit flac. the '24-bit flac' file describer is for 24 bit files. thanks! this description method will ensure that the files show up when people do 24 bit searches..
